Mancano sette giorni!

SOST – Self-organized Open Space Training – 2015 è un progetto unico nel suo genere. È un corso sull’ Open SpaceTechnology e questa è in un certo senso l’unica cosa ‘normale’ della storia. Nasce infatti dall’idea di una persona straordinaria, Michael Pannwitz un facilitatore così grande professionalmente che ho quasi timore di definirlo “collega”. Un corso auto-organizzato sull’ Open Space Technology, sette giorni e settanta persone… Questa era stata la sua idea, lanciata quasi un anno fa da Michael durante lo European learning  Exchange di Utrecht… Un’idea che ci ha entusiasmato subito ed ha attratto un piccolo-grande team che si è offerto di collaborare con lui. Poi si sa le cose accadono, e non sempre per il verso giusto, capita infatti che Michael quasi subito debba rinunciare al suo progetto per motivi di salute, ma il team non perde l’entusiasmo e decide di portare avanti comunque il progetto. Insieme a  Karolina Iwa e Gerardo De  Luzenberger ci siamo offerti come trainer ed un fantastico team di ragazzi polacchi si è preso la responsabilità dell’organizzazione e della logistica.

I giorni sono diventati cinque ma per il resto lo spirito del progetto è intatto ed assolutamente ‘Open Space’: i partecipanti avranno modo non solo di sperimentare la tecnica, ma di determinare i contenuti dei training, tutto si svolgerà in modalità Open Space Technology e, ultimo ma non ultimo, il progetto è totalmente no profit, ed il suo finanziamento si basa su uno schema di pricing dinamico che abbatte il prezzo al crescere del numero dei partecipanti.

Si sarà qualcosa di unico, sia dal punto di vista dell’Open Space Technology che dal punto di vista delle tecniche ed approcci didattici che sperimenteremo. Dunque sia che vi interessi la più spettacolare e potente tecnica di lavoro di gruppo mai scoperta, sia che siate interessati ad un modo diverso ed innovativo di fare didattica siete i partecipanti ideali per SOST 2015!

Personalmente mi aspetto molto, ho alle spalle intense settimane di progettazione insieme a Karolina e Gerardo, e so che il team polacco dell’organizzazione dovrà occuparsi dei mille dettagli che renderanno reale il nostro sogno…

Nessuno sa esattamente cosa accadrà in questa avventura,  ma l’entusiasmo e la passione che hanno avvolto questo progetto fin dall’inizio mi fanno credere che le giornate di Varsavia saranno semplicemente bellissime.

Rimane ancora qualche posto libero… Vi aspetto!

Seven days to go!

SOST – Self-organized Open Space Training – 2015 it’s a unique project of its kind. It’s a training about Open Space Technology and this is somewhat the only ‘normal’ thing of the story.

It was born from the idea of and extraordinary person Michael Pannwitz, a so great facilitator that I even hesitate to call him ‘colleague’ . One last self-organized training about Open Space Technology (Michael retired two years ago), seventy participants for seven days… This was the concept launched almost one year ago by Michael in the magic atmosphere of the European Learning Exchange in Utrecht… An idea that immediately enchanted us and attracted a little big team that offered himself to collaborate.

Then we know things happen, and not always in the right direction, it happens indeed that Michael must give up right at the beginning of the project for health reasons, but the team doesn’t loose its enthusiasm and decides to carry on the project. Together with Karolina Iwa and Gerardo De Luzenberger we proposed ourselves as trainers and a mighty team of Polish fellows took responsibility for organization and logistics.

The scheduled days are now five, but for the rest the spirit of the project is untouched and absolutely Open Space: participants will be allowed not only to experiment the technique, but also to determine the contents of training, everything will happen in Open Space Technology mode and, last but not least, the project is totally non profit and it’s financed on a dynamic pricing scheme that reduces the fee as far as the number of participants will increase.

Yes it will be something unique, either from the perspective of the Open Space Technology and the techniques and didactical approaches we will experiment. Therefore no matter if you are interested in the most spectacular group working technique ever discovered, or you just want to see a different and innovative way to make trainings at work, you are perfect participants for SOST 2015 !

Personally I expect a lot. We’ve had intense weeks of fine tuning together with Karolina and Gerardo, and I’m aware that the Organization Team will have to manage hundreds of details that will make our dream come true…

Nobody knows exactly what will happen in this adventure, but passion and responsibility that wrapped this project from the very beginning make me believe that the Warsaw days will be simply beautiful.
